Branch Manager – West office
Responsible for accomplishing MarketPlace objectives and all aspects of Marketplace growth and development. Serves as the principal community and customer point of contact. Represents Asheville Savings Bank though community and professional involvement in activities and organizations to develop contacts for potential business and the sale of bank products and services. Requires ability to effectively manage sales and service activities, motivate and develop staff, while meeting established goals and objectives. Previous management experience in a banking environment, proven sales ability and knowledge of consumer lending principles are required.
Customer Service Representative – Marion Office
This position will be responsible for receiving applications, as well as processing & closing consumer loans. Counsels new and existing customers regarding Bank’s deposit accounts and services, conducts research, and responds to customer inquiries. Requires a HS diploma, or equivalent, along with a working knowledge of accounting principles. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Mortgage Loan Originator – Downtown Asheville Office, Hendersonville Office
This individual is responsible for the complete preparation of mortgage loan applications, to include interviewing applicants and obtaining necessary documentation for the completion of the loan application; meeting established monthly and annual mortgage production goals; and developing business relationships with realtors, builders and other business referral sources.
Teller Supervisor – North Office
This position is responsible for supervising Tellers, as well as performing regular Teller duties. Directs training and coordination of teller staff and assists Branch Manager as needed. Position requires a minimum of one year of Teller experience along with previous supervisory responsibilities. Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent, a thorough knowledge of teller procedures, extensive cash handling and a basic understanding of accounting principles.
